Tryout tips: how to give yourself the best chance

With many minor hockey tryout camps beginning, here are some tryout tips for young players.

These are for both boys and girls seven- to 12-years-of-age who are intending to tryout for rep teams this fall in the Novice, Atom and Peewee age categories.

If players really want to make the rep team this year, they must strive to be in the top six forwards, the top three defencemen, or the best goaltender as the 14th and 15th picks are sometimes unexpect...(click here for full story)
