The Sherwood Park Mustangs were undefeated in round robin play where they faced the Grande Prairie Thunder (5-1), the Lethbridge Tornados (3-2), the St Albert Rush (3-0) and the Edmonton Havoc (4-2). In the semi finals the Mustangs defeated Cochrane in a close 2-1 game and in finals they defeated the Red Deer Chiefs in another close 4-3 match.
