Alberta hosts hundreds of hockey tournaments every season, from atom-level jamborees to elite bantam showcases. Hockey Now maintains the most complete listing of tournaments across the province.

Major Annual Tournaments

The Mac's Midget AAA World Invitational in Calgary is the crown jewel of Alberta's tournament calendar. Held every December since 1978, it draws teams from across Canada, the United States, and Europe. Many NHL players got their first national exposure at the Mac's.

The AMBHL provincials, AJHL showcases, and Hockey Alberta provincial championships round out the major events. These tournaments attract scouts from WHL, NCAA, and junior programs throughout western Canada.
