On Ice:  The Junior Prep Hockey Camp invites the best 12 to 19 year old hockey players and allows them an opportunity to be developed on the ice by world class coaches hoping to recruit players to Junior A, Junior B, and Canadian College teams directly from camp. Players are given the opportunity to network and showcase their skills in front of the same Junior coaches for whom they are hoping to play. This year’s camp features former Canucks Assistant Coach Ryan Walter in Week 1, our 1st Elite Female Week, and Referee Camp Weeks 2 and 3.
Off Ice:  Our intense off-ice conditioning program is second to none as we push players to their limits while educating them on the benefits of hockey specific training, strength and conditioning, and yoga. In 2011 we move into the new state of the art dormitory on site, and will again provide presentations from our guest coaches every evening. The off-ice activities and experiences make the Junior Prep Camp an Experience of a Lifetime!

Quantum Speed High Performance Power Skating Systems
City:  Vancouver, Edmonton
Province:  British Columbia, Alberta
Dates:  April – August 2011
On Ice:  The on-ice component of the Q3 Program consists of focused instruction, honest and constructive error detection and correction, and the introduction of Quantum Speed’s Signature Skills and Drills. The on-ice program is designed to cater to all learning styles, and all of the drills promote one-on-one instructor feedback. All of the main skating skills that players require for the game are covered over the course of 12 sessions, and all skills are related to game situations.
Off Ice:  The off-ice component of the Q3 program is designed and implemented to re-enforce the skating skills and efficient movements that are being introduced on the ice. The exercises are meant to promote unconscious muscle memory with error detection and correction that is consistent with the feedback that they are receiving on the ice. The off-ice component of the Q3 program is not meant to replace players’ individual strength training and conditioning programs, but should instead compliment them.
