Hockey Alberta will be switching to online registration through the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) for the 2009-2010 coaching clinic season. All clinic dates and locations will continue to be listed on the Hockey Alberta Website.
“The major benefit of moving to this online system is once the clinic is completed and the paper work is returned, your record will be updated with in 72 hours. No longer will you have to wait for the information to be processed in the Hockey Alberta office. It will speed up the process and benefit both the coaches and administrative sides, said Jaclyn Lantz, administrative assistant, Hockey Alberta.
What coaches will notice this year on the “Dates and Locations” page under the “Clinics” section of the Hockey Alberta website is a “Register Now” link. It will be this link that coaches will click on to register for the clinic they are interested in.
In order to register for a clinic for the first time, a coach will need their Hockey Canada Registry Number (HCR Number) which they can obtain from their Minor Hockey Association Register. A coach can then create themselves an e-learning account. Once this account is created, it will be used to register for any of Hockey Alberta’s clinics.
If you have any questions regarding the new online registration system please feel free to contact Jaclyn Lantz at [email protected] or by phone at (403) 342-6777. |
