The dates, times and locations have been nailed down for this years Hockey Alberta grassroots development programs. Source for Sports Play SMART Jamborees, Atom 4 on 4 Festivals and Pee Wee Skills Challenges are scheduled in each of the 9 zones across the province. These events are supported by Hockey Alberta but hosted and ran by each of the Local Minor Hockey Associations.
“We are excited to have each of the hosts on board this year and look forward to the upcoming events,” said Danielle Nystrom, coordinator of promotions and events, Hockey Alberta.
“Without the support and commitment from each of the minor hockey associations, events like these would not be possible. It’s a great opportunity to get kids out at the novice, atom and pee wee levels to focus on having fun with fellow teammates and competitors from across their zones.”
Each year, Hockey Alberta aspires to see participation in these grassroots programs increase.
