All Southside at Ferguson final
It was an all Southside final in the Bantam AA division at the SSAC John Ferguson Memorial Fall Tournament on Sept. 20.
The SSAC United Cycle squad took down last year’s provincial champion SSAC Alberta Sportswear side 5-3 at the annual event.
United Cycle dispatched SSAC APEX Geoscience 6-1 in the division semifinal.
Coaching clinics about to begin

Registration Open for Outdoor Tourney
The 18th Annual Stan Gantar Memorial Outdoor Hockey Tournament is currently accepting applications. One of the most fun events of the season takes place Jan. 28 to Feb. 7, 2010 at the Kilkenny Community League Outdoor Rink on 72 Street in Edmonton.

Midget Scholarship Up for Grabs
The Ron Brodeur Memorial Scholarship for Federation Hockey Midget players is now accepting applications for the 2009-10 season.
Coaches who feel they have a deserving player must submit the names of their players along with a short biography to the EMHA office by March 15, 2010. Criteria for the award will be the overall combination of hockey/community/academics. The awards will be presented in April 2010. |
