The Consort Midgets captured their first “B” Provincial Championship Banner on the weekend in Hanna. For many of the boys, this is their fifth gold medal to go along, with two silver medals.
Consort defeated Westlock in the final by a 4-3 score to capture the championship and complete a perfect 5-0 record over the weekend.
Quite an accomplishment for a Village of just 672 residents.
